Which black chain bag do you prefer and why?

I’m not wild about either but if I had to choose it would be Felicie. Y’all know I’m a huge Gucci gal but I’m just not feeling the marmont line. Although based on your photos the Gucci seems like it could be dressed up more. Still, too trendy for me. LV gets my vote.
Normally I favor Gucci over LV, but in this instance the LV is nicer due to the oversized GG's and the pattern of the leather on that particular Gucci, it's just too dated looking and busy. Good luck deciding!
Normally, I am an LV girl through and through, I especially love the empreinte leather line. So when I decided I needed a black crossbody I instantly gravitated toward the felicie. However, when I brought the felicie home it just wasn’t love. The bag seemed too flat to actually put anything in it besides the inserts, kwim? The same day I also visited Gucci to purchase a pair of sunnies and the SA showed me this particular bag. The Gucci purse lingered so much in my mind that I went to buy it the next day. In all honesty, the Gucci seems the more functional choice, but I’ve always been a loyal LV girl. Perhaps it’s tome to try something new. I must say I would prefer the Marmont more if it were pebbled leather without the quilting.
I like both brands equally and out of these two I prefer Gucci. Marmont bag is more classic looking and even the chain is nicer. With Felicie it feels like you are paying a lot for the inserts.
There is a pebbled version of the marmont WOC. I have one in pink but I’m not sure if they still sell it. I prefer the pebbled leather over the quilting too.
I saw one on the resell market, the SA said it is no longer available in store. I am tempted to return it and buy the pebbled version pre loved, but I’d just to do that to the SA.
