Which black bag: YSL Lou OR Valentino Rockstud Spike, and why?

A follow-up to my question from few days ago,- trying to choose between these 2 bags. I love both and they are both very popular, but need to choose only one: which one do you like better? Which one is a better investment, — YSL Lou OR Valentino Rockstud Spike, and why? Both are posted below. They are both very beautiful and very popular, so it’s hard to choose. Thanks, in advance, for your help!.

YSL is more versatile. It can be casual, almost non descript...The Valentino is a bit more dressy. YSL is more of an everyday bag.

I have two YSL camera Lou (red and dark beige) and they are so roomy and versatile. The style is also more classic to me than the Valentino.

Have a Valentino Rockstud Spike. And it brings more elegance to the person who wears it. YSL Lou is more causal. Anyway, they are both nice choices.

As much as I love the YSL, I have one in smaller size, the Rockstud is just so beautiful and edgy at the same time. It's also more versatile IMO. The quality of Valentino Garavani bags is top notch. From my experience of having many bags from both brands, Valentino's quality is superior.

I love both but am leaning towards the YSL Lou. It is a classic bag, especially classic to YSL. I don't know how long Valentino will continue the rockstud style.

I have both in different colors.....i would say YSL camera bag. I use mine more than the Valentino rockstud. Both are gorgeous bags.

It really depends on what you are going for. If you are going for more a more classic vibe, then go with the YSL. If you want a bag with a bit of an edge to it, go with the Valentino. The Valentino is definitely a statement bag while the YSL is not. Do you want a statement bag? I also could see the Valentino eventually becoming dated. This doesn't bother me personally as I carry what I like regardless of whether it is dated or not. The YSL likely won't become dated as it is a basic camera bag style and the style has been around for years and won't be going anywhere. And based on my experience with both brands...both have good quality but Valentino is definitely IMO superior quality to YSL.
