Hi everyone! I'm a recent Celine lover here, and I've been thinking about which Celine Bag to get but couldn't make up my mind between these choices. I'm currently stuck between the Chain Shoulder Triomphe, Chain Besace Triomphe, the Trapeze Triomphe, the Mini 16 and the Mini Besace Triomphe..... Please do let me know your thoughts and opinions on wear and tear, practicality and which one you would go for...

I'm biased towards the mini 16, but would definitely recommend it if you like it! It's both beautiful and a useful bag. I recently posted photos of what fits in my mini 16 bag—they're here in the Celine 16 thread if you'd like to reference them. TLDR: it fits a lot for a mini bag. :flowers:

As for the other bags you're considering, I've tried the Trapeze and Triomphe shoulder bag. Both of them are lovely bags, but I didn't vibe with the Trapeze's wider top (looked a bit funny on my frame) and the Triomphe shoulder bag didn't fit enough stuff for me. I'd definitely recommend trying on all of your options in a Celine boutique first if you can.

I'm leaning more toward one of the triomphe bags...I'm sure the Mini 16 is a very practical and well made, but I can't help but think it resembles too much of a Michael Kors bag

Ooh I never thought of it that way but I completely see your point!

OP, what do you plan on using the bag for? Every day wear? They are all lovely, imo. I always love the triomphe logo :)

Haha you're too funny! Now that you mention it, I can't get it out of my head :lol: Islandmouse, Ideally everyday wear that I can use for transition from daytime to evening. I have the YSL Solferino, so that's why I wasn't considering the teen Triomphe as I felt like they might be too similar.

I'd go for the mini 16 or the chain shoulder triomphe.

I have the shoulder triomphe in canvas with the leather shoulder strap and I love it! But, it is as everyone says it is, it cannot fit much.
I can put my 13 mini iPhone, 6 ring key holder, car fob, and card holder, and that's it. Maybe a lipstick or lipbalm.

The mini 16 or the 16's design in general is very sophisticated but a little mature in black and gold hdw. I think it's a great all rounder bag though. It has that kind of elegance that I appreciate in quiet luxury.

Regardless of which one you choose, enjoy your new bag! Happy shopping! :tup:

Hi Everyone! I've went to the boutique but came back empty handed. Unfortunately, none of the bags fit me quite well....I realised after going into the store that the top-handle silhouette would work best for me, but the mini 16 was lacking something. I wanted to try on the mini triomphe with a top handle but unfortunately it was not available in London. The other bags were either too small, or I had something too similar and couldn't justify the additional purchase. Thank you so much and I'll keep you all updated when I make my Celine purchase!

Hi! I would go for chain shoulder triomphe :) But they all are so classy and timeless so you should just follow your heart! Each of them will be a great choice!
I personally bought a triomphe WOC to start with. And will certainly consider some of their bigger bags in future.
