Which bag would you take? OR Do I need a new H bag?

Planning for my trip to Thailand...will be going to Bangkok...the Hill Country (Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai) and the beach (Phuket)...

My current options...all black...Evelyne GM2, Kelly 35, and Birkin 35...

I am definitely taking Evelyne...she will be my go-to daily bag... Am thinking about a "dinner" bag... Should I take Kelly as well??? OR...Do I need a new/another bag???

Help me Hermes stylists...

Should confess to another "issue"...I don't love small bags on me...

SoCal, your trip sounds fabulous. I vote for the Evelyne as well but would you consider a new JPG Kelly clutch as your dinner bag? May I ask why you don't love small bags on yourself? If I remember your pics correctly (from the tPF meetings), I think a small bag would look great on you.

Thank you! Yes, Evelyne for sure...

I am thinking a bit about the JPG Kelly clutch...I tried one in Madrid and liked it very much... My only hesitation is that I would use it next to never in my "home" life (although it might be useful for special events and as a travel option)...

Small bags...well...the proportions just seem a bit "off"... I have rather broad shoulders and typically minimize my chest and upper body in black attire...

Am also thinking a bit about another Kelly or a Bolide... Trying to decide if I can happily make due with my current options or if there is a "perfect fit" I should consider (would consider this my pre-vacation souvenir :shame: ...and use in Europe and China this summer...)

24F...I love chevre...it is one of my current fixations... My "problem"...I would rather have it in a 35... So...I am not sure if this is too large??? (But am also thinking a gold or potiron Kelly would be more "vacation" or summer than my black beauty... But do I need it??? Oh, the voices in my head...) And I am waiting on a gold Birkin...

Channeling Goldilocks and other "difficult" children tonight...sorry...

Might I suggest a bolide??!!! Lol...it is THE rage lately!!! Can be hand-held or used with the strap...or the 1923 style is nice with that extra pocket on the outside as well...

Hahaha...I thought about that as well...perhaps gold, potiron, another gorgeous brown??? Or wait for my gold birkin... The voices in my head continue to "debate"...

How about a lovely 27cm Bolide in chevre? OR a 28cm Plume? Both would make great evening bags......actually, great day to evening bags.....

Lovely bolide in chevre...yes...a possibility...but it would have to be at least a 31... :shame: I acknowledge I am difficult... :shame:

Thinking cargo capris (dark khaki, forest green, beige) with Hogan tennis shoes and Evelyne for day in the Hill Country... Switch out to 3-4 inch wedges, funky heels for evening... The Four Seasons version of "camping"...or "trekking"... Switch out to fab flip-flops in Phuket...

LOL...remembering the BJ Kelly that went to the Maldives...

LOL, shoes! I like shopmom's suggestions, too! If you're set on larger bags, I vote for a Kelly 32 in Potiron Chevre! If I remember correctly, SoCal, you're blonde, right? Potiron would look awesome on you.

Hahaha...I am (or used to be) brunette...I suppose I am now barely brunette with a few lighter streaks... Love the idea of potiron...in a 35... Rose was so kind to let me "try" her gorgeous Kelly 32 in LV...we all agreed that the 35 was "just right" for me... 35 on "vacation"????? Oh, the voices (wow, I might need some meds rather than a new bag)...

May I suggest a Paris Bombay PM in blk or choco box??? I think it would make a great evening bag esp in box and the size would be perfect. I also think you could probably incorporate it into your daily home life later like running errands or nice casual dinners!!!
