New to Gucci. In my late 30s, currently own: LV Neverfull, LV Speedy 35 and a little Pouchette Accessories (with a strap to wear crossbody).
super casual/boring lifestyle. About to become a mom of 2; work full time (usually carry a le Pliage tote to work with gym stuff and lunch). On the weekends, I like to have my essentials on me (phone, keys, a few cards and lip gloss) and all the kid stuff goes into a backpack or the Neverfull. Currently i'm using the pouchette for this (it is 15 years old and I feel terrible 'cheating' on it!).

I was considering a Disco bag but some other Gucci crossbodies caught my eye. Specifically, the Ophidia, the Dionysus Medium and the GG Supreme Mini. Which would you get to mainly use on the weekends (casual, family dinners, shopping, things with kids)?
Thank you!

Out of those 3 I really like the Gucci Dionysus. I think it looks stylish and versatile. I own a black Soho Disco and enjoy using it for casual use, family dinners and weekend fun shopping.

thanks, both. I should've specified that the Dionysus i'm looking at is the Medium GG bucket one--a bit less "formal" looking that the other (stunning) one, I think. I am really liking it, and the ophidia, too--but can't find any real life pics!

Disco is really great and not so expensive. It is so light and fits a lot.

I am selling off all of my LVs, Bals and Prada, but my black Gucci Disco and a Chanel Boy stay. Oh, and I just bought a Dionysus wallet on chain this evening. [emoji48]

How does the leather on the disco wear? Is it prone to scratches? I’m looking for a leather bag I can toss in my work bag and can hold up to some wear and tear and rough use.

I’ve has my disco a year and it’s still looks great, it’s a fuss free bag the leather is very durable I’ve no scratches or marks and I wouldn’t baby it. The only thing I would say is you need to stuff it when not in use as I have seen some older ones that have lost their shape
