I loved the lilac mini flap from the 24P collection, but I couldn’t get it. The color in real life was super soft yet vibrant and fresh.

There will be a similar bag coming out in the new 24A collection, which is the light purple mini flap. I think it looks interesting, but I’m not sure about the color as it looks kinda grey compared to the lilac.

What do you think about these colors?
Do you own a bag in either “lilac” or “light purple” from chanel?

Does “light purple” really look grey in hue?

Should I get the new 24A mini light purple flap, or wait for another lilac?

I’d love to hear some opinions.

Like above, I also am not a fan of top handle Chanel bags. But lilac is an interesting color I'd consider. Given how prices are these days, you have to see the new color in person.

How come you’re not a fan of them?

I agree with you, especially with light colors. The store I went to had 2 lilacs but their colors were obviously different. The stored piece was actually darker than the one on display, although they’re the same model and color code on paper.

I came across someone who noted that chanel’s light blues and light purples usually have a grey hue to them which this one didn’t have and it made me like it more. I would’ve considered it, but I only liked the color of the one on display and it had marks and the top layer of the leather had started falling off on the sides where the leather folds in. 🥴

I think top handles are overkill. A flap is perfect as is without the handle. The chain strap and the quilted leather makes the bag perfect. Personally I wouldn't consider one with a handle, but it's up to the individual.

Some like handles for ease of use, but not me. If I want to carry it as a clutch, then I tuck the chains inside the bag.

Both r gorgeous colours n definitely worth getting it to form Ur collection!

Chanel do have a knack of producing different shades of the same colour family n I got different shades of pink for my bags too. I just hope bring they back the caviar version of this bag with top handle which I haven't got in my collection . Wonder why they discontinued the caviar

I love both. I am big fan of the top handle minis, as IMHO, it brings lots of versatility and even more in fun colors!

I haven’t seen the 24a lavender colours but have the mini top handle from 24p and it’s perfect shade! It looks different under different lighting. I also have the 21k lilac small boy and it’s more grey tone. The 24p does not have any grey undertone.

The 24P lilac mini is gorgeous! It’s the perfect color and so refreshing to look at. I’m no longer interested in the 24A flap, I don’t like the grey undertone and the bag looks bulky.
