  1. Hey guys, I'm trying to pick between these two bags for my next bag purchase. Please let me know which one you'd pick and why. I love both and don't really have a similar bag (or a bag from either designer) so I'm having a hard time picking. Thanks so much.

  3. I went through the exact same dilemma ! I would personally pick the SDJ just because of the cross body strap. I hate when a bag is so limiting in terms of being only able to carry it with the handle like the antigona rather than a long strap. I know the antigona has a long strap too but I just don't think it looks good on the shoulder because the strap is so short. Just my two cents, they are both beautiful bags and you really can't go wrong with either

  4. the saint laurent. it looks really cool with the black croc and in the pics from the side

  5. Very true! If you value cross body option go with the SDJ.

  6. SDJ is more versatile in my opinion.

  7. If hands free is important to you the small antigona is very hard to carry over the shoulder comfortably. My medium Ant was even a pain at times, but that was more due to the proportions. I like the sac du jour and think its classic but not dull, it would be a lovely addition to a collection imo.

  8. Saint Laurent Sac de Jour for me

  9. I'm personally voting for the Ant - I also had a similar dilemma, and was worried about being limited to only carrying the Ant by the short handles due to the shorter shoulder strap. However, in the end the Ant won out because it is just so beautiful in real life, and I'm actually finding the shoulder strap to be fine as well - I just angle the bag back a bit. The SDJ is stunning too, but I loved the angular shape of the Ant and it is a gorgeous bag to own.

  10. +1 for the ant. It's on my wish list too, beautiful irl 😊

  11. Both are beautiful bags. You may want to consider if it is important for your bag to close completely at the top or not. How important is a longer shoulder strap vs the shorter. I have both the small and medium Ants and the straps are completely comfortable for me. I love the "presence" of the Ant. It is a bag that commands your attention. Good luck on your decision.

  12. Saint laurent

  13. ysl

  14. YSL. Got a chance to try the small SDJ crossbody and is super comfortable and chic for a structured bag. Definitely YSL if crossbody wear and hands free is important to you.

  15. Of the two the Sac de Jour, but have you considered the Givenchy pebbled/goat leather? I don't think the smooth is very practical.
