Which bag to pick

I have 2 bags that I have purchased but can only keep one. They are both totally different but both can be hand held or shoulder bag. SL quality has me concerned but the smooth leather on the fendi has me concerned also. Any advice? Tia

Love the Fendi with the contrast lining. The YSL is pretty, but between the chevron pattern, the logo and the chain strap, it seems busy to me.

Looks aside what about function? Do you like flaps? Which bag would you get more use out of? I love the YSL but it looks dressier, the Fendi could be dressy or a little more casual.
