Hi there,

I have been looking at the Gucci Marmont mini cross body bag for a few months, however have now recently been wondering if I would prefer a Speedy 25 or 30 (all three are about same price in the UK and I just feel the LV bags are more for the money)
I already have a neverfull mm which I got for Christmas and adore

Any help much appreciated

The Gucci Marnont is all leather so I'd say exactly the opposite. I think the Camera bag style is my favourite and the price-point is still pretty good.

I think if you LoVe your NF, adore LV altogether and suits you daily life you may as well stay loyal and get to know everyone and everything more in your local store. The Speedy 25 or 30 will always be classics.

I get what you are saying about the leather v canvas! I just don’t know what I want I have a Marc jacobs and Alexander wang that I could make cross body but never do... I honestly feel I like the speedy better but wonder if I am being silly as I have the NF, the Gucci at least is a different type of bag... I dont have the means to buy designer bags at this price often so want to me sure I’m not making a mistake!
Oh also - the nearest LV store is 2hrs away!! Annoying!

The bags are so different from each other I'd concentrate on what you need. Speedy and Marmont serve complete different purposes.
Canvas vs leather
formal vs laid back
shoulder/crossbody vs top handle
small/medium size vs Tardis
new but possibly a future classic vs classic
Think which boxes you'd want your new bag to check and then decide.

I use my speedy b 25 all of the time. I have monogram, but I wish I had gotten Damier Ebene for the care free treated leather. It rains too much where I live to have to deal with vachetta unless one likes changing purses often. I use my Soho Disco often on rainy days. Good luck with your decision.
