Which bag for the symphony?

I am going to an afternoon performance of the Boston Pops Christmas show then dinner in Boston. It has been a very long time since I attended an “event” and even before covid didn’t have much need for dressy bags. I do have an older Coach clutch and another black evening bag (and a black Longchamp wristlet) but no Luxury evening bags.

My current choices are the Alma bb in black Epi or a black Epi Pochette Accessories (OM) as well as PA in mono canvas and a Pochette Navona in DE. Will likely be wearing a black outfit. Was thinking the Alma but is that too casual? I know no one else is going to notice or care but wondering if I should use this as an excuse for a dressier type bag . TIA!

I think the Alma will go nicely with a black suit. If you have a chain strap, you can enhance the epi or monogram Pochette.

Future:
- YSL has the all leather uptown pouch that in expensively doubles as a clutch. Fits card case, key fob, lipgloss and phone.

Honestly I think any of the bags you mentioned would look lovely and be totally suitable for that type of event. I love Monogram and DE because I think they go so well with any outfit, even an all-black one, but of course so will black Epi. I would think the Alma would be a great choice!

I do have chains for them so they are options I guess, depending on the outfit.
I have seen the Uptown pouch, esp like the black faux alligator one, but it seems too small and I need some sort of handle option. I am high maintenance .

Oh sooo exciting to anticipate a formal evening out !! ( I miss this).... I think either of the black LVs would be a good match for your black outfit. Did you finalize your decision ??
