Hi! I was wondering what you guys though of the bags below for a Phd program interview? Yes? No? Should I keep on looking? Which one do you like better? I like leather bags with no obvious designer markings. Just something simple, clean, and professional looking. I'm looking at the color black for all bags. I'm not too thrilled with the contrast stitching but I think I can live with it. Do you think these bags are appropriate for an interview? I'll appreciate your input. Thanks!

I like 2 and 3 best. My personal choice is 2 but I think 3 looks more formal and can fit a lot more in it so it may be more practical.

All 3 are good choices. Understated, non-logo'ed, functional. The least fussy one is the best, so if that's no. 3, that would be my choice.

Thanks for all your input!! I am leaning towards bag #3. I like the structured nature of the bag. I'm a bit concerned that it will be a little too large... do you think it will be too large? I also found a Furla bag that is fairly similar to the Dooney and Bourke bag #3. Between bag #3 and the Furla bag (bag #4, link below) which do you think looks better? Is it worth the extra $84? Thanks so much again. You guys make things so clear!!

Bag #3: (same as link above)

Personally, I don't like the contrast stitching either. You shouldn't buy a bag thinking, " I don't like it, but I can live with it". For your price range, you should be able to find a bag that you love
