Which bag for dinner?

Trying to decide between K28 retourne matte black gator vs. B30 sellier shiny bordeaux croc. Dinner will be at a French fine dining restaurant in the US. Dress code is jacket optional.

Edited to add: Wondering if the B30 is too casual. Will be wearing a dress and DH a suit.

Matte K with your dress

While I think Kelly’s tend to be dressier than Bs generally, the matte will tone it down for dress code jacket optional.

Black Matte alligator. Even though it's matte and 28, it's more dressy. Wear in-hand.

Bordeaux and purple sound really edgy, but a B 30 is quite large, I would let the purple gown do the talking.

If it goes with the dress, it might be cute. If dress code is jacket optional, there may be a whole range of outfit and bag possibilities

But, my style is a mix. I wore a feutre TPM Evelyn to Plenitude in Paris
