I have the Dinky 24 and used to have a saddlebag 23 but gave it to my daughter. It seemed to me when I had the saddlebag it fit just as much as the Dinky 24 just in a different configuration. But now that my daughter owns it I swear she can stuff it full with more than I ever did. I think because the saddlebag has no clasp or turnlock she can fit quite a bit and the flap can still be folded over the top and not stick out much. But with the Dinky, with the turnlock to keep the flap down, when you stuff it full the flap sticks straight out quite a bit making it look awkward. Not that I normally stuff mine full since my dinky is for days when I don't want to carry much. Anyway for the most part, if you don't try to stuff your bags like my daughter then, yes, they do carry the same amount.
