Dear TPF Forum,

which bag do you use as your „Going on a Walk in the city or around your neighborhood“-bag? I often go for walks during lunch or in the evening with my partner. I think due to homeoffice many more people might do the same just to catch some fresh air!

Normally I would just carry my phone and my keys, sometimes my cardholder if I will quickly head into a shop/the bakery. In the winter I would put my phone in my jacket, but in summer I have to put it in the bag.

Any advice on which small bag to use? It should be care-free and not too big. Really I am just looking for stylish alternatives to the Chanel WOC or Mini with their inflated prices!

Take a look at Coach's Crossbody Clutch, Hayden, and Callie. The last two are like a wallet on a chain (or leather strap) and have a back slip pocket for your phone. They sound like something you might be looking for. All of these have removable straps so you can also carry them as clutches.

Callie is similar to Hayden with more room. Callie:

It looks like there are two versions of the Hayden now:

new .................................... old

I also do a lot of walks (have a dog) and hate carrying stuff in my pockets.

At the moment my favorite easy small grab-and-go bag is the Bottega small Bulb. A very underrated bag even if in store they tell me this size (only size to consider IMO) is selling very well. It is light, fits the phone and plenty more, feels smaller than it is, goes with everything and, best of all, the strap can easily be adjusted to precisely the length you want by a simple knot.
I took out the shorter straps from mine as I find them useless.

WOC/something of its size, or a bum bag. I got a Marimekko Billie quilted bum bag for Christmas and it's been favorite for running errands and going to the near by store. For longer adventure walks I've carried M Antony or a Kipling Amiel bag, or a small backpack.
