I wear a love bracelet and I want a bracelet that I can add on to it daily. Which 5 Motif bracelet do you suggest? Does it scratch the love bracelet if worn on the same arm? I was thinking of maybe the Onyx in yellow gold?

What would be easy maintenance? Can I shower with any of them?

the easiest maintenance one would be the solid hammered gold or the pave, you could probably shower with either of them. onyx, carnelian, blue agate, and chalcedony are all relatively tough, although i don’t know if you can shower with them. mother of pearl is more delicate, and while some people do shower with it, it’s not recommended. malachite is the most sensitive & rather delicate, and would probably be ruined by the water. do keep in mind that replacing a motif is relatively cheap compared to the cost of the bracelet (like $100ish per motif IIRC), so if showering with it is very important to you, you can keep that in mind.

If you want a stone (and not solid gold), I think onyx is the best option. I don't think the onyx will scratch, but your Love will be scratched. I also love the combination of the Love and a 5 motif. I was really OCD about scratches, but I just don't want to think about it anymore. If I would have the onyx 5 motif, I would not worried about it at all to stack (if you can handle scratches on your Love). Just enjoy your purchases!

I have been wearing my onyx with my two Love bracelets but not all the time. I had 4 links removed from my vca and my Love size is a 17. So far they all seem ok. Just got the mop in the mail today and put them all on but I won't wear it this way. Onyx is very durable but I don't shower with it on. Do was the dishes with it on tho.

RG, Love this look on you, congrats on your new onyx and hope you and your family are doing well! Think of you whenever I make recipe for butter mochi from years ago! Hugs

Awww! How are you? It's too funny, I bought some butter mochi last month and thought about you and whether you still made it. I haven't made any in so long. Hope you are well :)

Great advice regarding each option and wear and tear.

I just want to clarify it was $240 to replace a stone, and I did it before the price increase. I don’t know if that also increased, but certainly much more than the $100ish, in case OP is thinking of malachite or anything besides solid gold or pave.

This looks so beautiful! Do they overlap much? The VCA and the Loves? Since they are about the same size now. I have the same lenght VCA, but my Love is a 16. Wondering how the overlap would be if I shorten it by 1cm. Thanks a lot!

There is a slight overlap, the vca goes under my Loves. I don't wear my Loves snug but they aren't loose ether.

One motif slides under half way, it's not a lot of movement but it does overlap.
Thanks so much the more info the better haha. I asked a few people already to make up my mind (if I wanted to shorten it by 2 links more so 6 total). I can't decide... It was either stack and have the VCA overlap the Love (which is not perfect, but it doesn't go over completely) and keep the even spacing between the motifs... OR shorten it by 1cm which is not complimentary anymore and harder to do because of Covid and no VCA in my country. If it is shorter it would stack nicer, but I am not sure if it is worth having uneven spacing. I do like the movement of my current length when worn alone on the right, but on the left it is maybe a bit to big. Love is on the right. I am terrible with these things

I prefer to wear my vca separate on my right. I stack it with my Loves when I am only wearing ot for a short amount of time as I am very rough with everything. :)

Haha I get you! Yes I think I will do this too. Just wear on separate wrists and stack only for when I am in the mood! I think I leave it the way it is. I like the VCA to fall a bit more down my arm (more then my Love). Thanks I finally made a decision!! :flowers:
