I don’t think I’m in the right place but not sure where I should post this! I want to sell my mini flap I got in 2019 that I don’t use and would rather have the money right now. Would prefer to sell to a consignment store rather than deal with people myself on eBay. Thank you!

You could try facebook groups or Vestiaire collective

+1 this! Have sold many items through them!
That’s good to know, I have also sent them a message! Do you know what’s the best way to post high valuable items? I looked on Royal Mail and it only covers up to £2500. UPS let’s you declare value, but it then brings the postage to nearly £60.

Designer Exchange offer a lower price, but it’s a straight buy out. Xupes will offer higher, but you have to wait till someone buys it (they used to do buy outs, but that seems suspended at the moment). Just to give a balanced review of my previous selling experience with both! But, I’ve had excellent experiences with both companies. Cannot rate them higher.

I sent via Next Day Recorded Delivery via the Post Office. The woman I spoke to had put the higher value of insurance on my item with no issue. Might depend who you speak to though. Could be worth speaking to them in person. Cost me less than £20 to post when I sold my Chanel mini last month (can’t remember exact amount).

Ah okay, I’m hoping to get back what I paid for which was around £2600. I’ll look around and see if it’s possible!

Thank you, that’s good to know! Seems very scary posting something so expensive

Maybe Designer Exchange will provide a surprise. But, I’d say Xupes will probably pull through.

Oh, I am obsessively tracking the updates!! If you are worried I would send via courier though for piece of mind!

Hopefully, considering the retail price now is £3200 and they’re hard to come by will hopefully do me some favours

I think I might, will see what they recommended as well! Last resort will have to try selling myself via Facebook group. Definitely don’t want to use eBay!

I imagine you’ll definitely get what you want, if not close to it! God, I agree though! Definitely not eBay!
