Yes. It’s definitely Eggplant. Not likely that you’ll find a Balenciaga replacement but there are lots of third party straps that would look good. Alternatively you might find any City strap with the correct hardware and dye it to match. Our gal, Earswithfeet likes mixing and matching colorful straps for some of her bags and they look great!

I don’t have a problem carrying a bag with the strap from a different color city, as long as the colors go together and the hardware is the same.

Meanwhile thank your lucky stars with great fervency that you own the much beloved and coveted Eggplant city. Yours is gorgeous.
