Hi!
I'm looking to buy a Gold 36mm Rolex in which is sadly out of my budget.
I was considering buying a gently used one.
Any trusted stores you can recommend in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills Area?
Any tips on buying a used watch? I have purchased all of my other watches new.
Thank you soooo much!!!

Hi there!!

Having just purchased a Rolex myself I was in your shoes very recently. I did most of my research on here and on The Rolex Forums (I hope it's ok to mention another forum).

I looked at the Rolex threads here to help me choose a model then went to a dealership to try them on. As, to be honest, it wasn't until I tried on several different styles, I knew where my taste lay.

Then from asking and researching on the Rolex Forum I was able to narrow down which dealer to use. In the end I bought new and local. However, as you are in the US it is far easier to come across excellent deals in preloved condition.
Again in the other forum they also have a sales thread where private members and dealers can post deals. They also have preferred vendors with feedback so that also lets you chose who is the best fit for you.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing your new watch when you get it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this reply! I saw the Rolex forum and I was not sure if it is a good place to look. After reading your post I signed up and I will start looking there.

I'm still hoping for a store I can go to to see preloved Rolex watches in person. If anyone has any other tips, please let me know. Thanks!!

Very glad I could help. Just paying it forward. I've been helped out, here in TPF, more times than I care to remember and I'm very grateful.

Once again, if you ask for stores they will be able to tell you who is best to look at in that area and also how to safeguard yourself from purchasing a fake or a watch that has aftermarket elements.

Good luck and happy shopping.
