Where to buy a leather or silk cord for necklace?

Hi all, wasn't sure where to post this/how to ask this question.


I want to put a charm on a silk cord or leather cord like Tiffany used to do. They had silk cords for keys and other pendants and I think leather for Paloma male pieces.


Is there a good non name brand place I can order from? I'm going to put my Tiffany Olympian charm on it for reference.

Etsy definite has a wide selections indeed. Also maybe try a local arts and crafts store like Michaels, Jo-Ann, etc.
