I have 2 Himalayan kitties and they get into EVERYTHING. Once Nikki (older one) sat in a tray full of paint and my husband washed her with turps to get it off. Turps is highly toxic to a cat and we had to take her to the animal Emergency where she was on oxygen, re-hydration and had a TOTAL shave (except for her head). She was in intensive care for 3 days and we ended up with a massive bill (worth it though). She was ok, but strangely smelled like cheese for a couple of weeks. Her hair grew back darker too.

Oh! That is SO scary! Thanks for letting me know about the turpentine! Our Himi got a lion cut and his hair came back darker, as well. Each time he goes it's a different shade.

Good news on Greebs...he may get to come home tomorrow! I am SO excited.

ShoulderEyeCandy, I think the City may be sold (next week), but I may have to give up the First! I love it, but the vet bill takes precedence. Waiting to see what the total is before I make any "rash" bag decisions! LOL!
