Where is Nicosia, Cyprus?

I've never heard of it and am interested in being a high-end item from a seller who's from here.

Sounds different so just wondering if it would be safe..

Take the same precautions you would with any international seller... I haven't heard of any problems with Cyprus, but that doesn't mean someone else hasn't!

We have a person from this board on Cyprus, I think it may be an island off Greece?
She was a delight to buy from & the shipping time was fast, I was quite pleased.
Note, I'm only answering your question about where Cyprus is.
All the other cautions should be in place as far as dealing with an ebay seller.

Thanks for the replies! Of course I'm taking all the precautions, getting the item authenticated, good feedback, etc etc. I just feel kinda weird buying from out of the country.

Nicosia is the capital of cyprus, on the southern side, not the occupied north. It is a member of the european Union and trades in Euros. Trading there is like trading with any other European country, but take usual precautions.
I know this because I come from there...
