I work for mine. I keep telling my hubby to be my sugardaddy but he won't budge on that one. If I want a bag, then I save. Thank Goodness he doesn't feel the same about everything else.

okay I am definitely not rich, I have tons of student loans and in debt with my CC but hopefully, starting August, I will have a decent bag to help me pay off my loans and also support my new found addiction.. heheh.. but for now, yeah, I am hella broke..by the way, I do work full-time as well.. but my job doesn't pay that much..

Where in Canada are you?? Sask? Further North?
I'm in Calgary, it's worth the trip, there are still a lot of bags here...

Sault Ste. Marie (Ontario)... yep I'm 6 hours from Detroit, 7-8 from Chicago... 9-11 hours from N.Y BUT... its like I live on a GD island.. the closest actual city is 3 hours away and that is Sudbury.. and thats a joke.

Depression sinking in....
I just want to live in the States.. my grandfather is 100% American (just outside of Chicago...) so I probably could go for my green card... I should do that!

Hello metro ;) good question! im one Lv addict. so many bags i want to buy no. 1 on the list is a BBag and i just bought 4 new LV's a week ago. I'm not rich too... comfortable but not rich. i always pay my cc bill in full for all my purchases but now i think il start to pay partial hahaha bec i really really want a bbag -- im sure its bad but i cant help it. maybe i should start selling some of my LV bags ... LV bucket anyone, prada, gucci anyone ? LOL:)

I pose this question then... can you be a handbag addict WITHOUT owning a handbag...

Can I look from afar and still call myself an addict.

Cause I believe that I'm an addict cause I dream about bbags, more LV bags.... but yet I only own 1 LV.

I'm up to my eyeballs in debt, and hope to buy a Weekender / Voyage soon so that I can fit all my stuff when I become a bag lady.

   love it!!

I'm a working single mom. I usually spend my annual bonus on a handbag and put the rest in savings. My 2006 resolution was to only buy one bag this year...so far, I've bought 3.

Well besides working real hard, I got dumb lucky about 15 years ago and bought 3 townhomes in Irvine, Calif. They are now rental properties. Also, when I was in college, years ago (lots) a guy I knew told me to buy this silly penny stock, called Oracle. Sold it all about 10 years ago. Sheer dumb luck.

I need some luck like that!

I've just started working and I'm an attorney, so that's where my money comes from. I also max out my work retirement plan and try to save on top of that.

You will get there, it just takes time, and logging those nice 60 hour work weeks.....:yucky:

When I was an attorney at a big firm, I never bought expensive handbags. Now that I am not working and looking to switch to a job that will result in a 60% pay cut, I am spending like crazy. Go figure. I guess then that I can afford my purchases because of my work. That is, I saved a bit over the years.
