Where do you carry your Passport?

I travel quite a lot and normally carry my passport in the inner pocket of my purse. I now wanted to invest in a small piece to hold my passport, travel documents etc.
I don't want it to be too big, as I will also carry with me my wallet (cards, insurance etc) and coin purse - I like to keep things separate when I travel in case something gets lost/stolen
I looked for the mon monogram but don't like that it's "open" - would prefer it to be closed for more protection.
Where do you carry your passport when you travel?
Any recommendations for a small purse/wallet that would fit the passport and eventually travel documents / mileage cards?

I use an LV pocket agenda, which fits 3 cards, passport, bills or documents (folded). This fits in my coat pocket, handbag zipper pocket, or Pochette.

I've tried agendas, passport holders, organizers, you name it ... but it still ends up in the inner pocket of my purse.

In airport security lines, hand or pocket.

Otherwise, moneybelt.
Too important.
