Yes, they still make this necklace. It comes in silver only. I think it is around $1200.

I believe all Chanel pearls are faux pearls, not genuine.

Yes, you can find it in chanel boutques...The pearls are not real

Yup they're faux pearls. I believe someone said they were glass? I'm honestly not sure. There are two different styles.

yeap[z thats me, theyre glass beads coated in some special lacquer to make it shine i think from oyster shell or smth. if u ask me, id save up and get their fine jewelry=P its made much better!

^Agreed. I love the look of those Chanel pearls, but it bothers me that they're over $1k and they're not even real pearls. I'd rather spend more and get real quality pearls like Mikimoto..

ok this might be grossly wrong (or just gross) but i read somewhere that they were made from fish bones

lol, dont ask my why!! but if youd ask me id think they are made from glass and to the orig poster...most places that carry chanel carry these, they are supposed to be the hot item from spring and i believe they came out with a fewnew styles!
