KL chanel is always cheaper than SGD even after the 7% GST refund.

It always is more expensive in Asia but among Asian countries, Malaysia has the cheapest Chanels. If you calculate USA price and include sales tax of about 8.25% (which is what I am paying for CA) it is about the same price as Malaysia Chanel prices. They just increased the price Dec 1, 2011 where as USA has NOT increased the price. The 226 was RM 14770 and now it's RM 16770.

I personally will not buy from Asia because I can get it cheaper in USA. However, when it comes to hunting down that holygrail, no matter how expensive it is, you just have to go for it I guess instead of regretting not getting it.
