Hi there,

It's been a long time since I posted in this sub forum but a recent Coach "vintage" black saddle bag has brought me back. I found this at my local consignment store for $32. A little pricey but I saw some potential.

It was SO dry and I have already used 1/2 of Leather Honey on it in 24 hours. It seems to soak it right up. Is this too much conditioner? When should I stop? I was thinking when the conditioner took longer than an hour to soak in.

I'll post pictures later.

Thank you!

You should stop and give it a day or two to soak in. Let it settle and then you can add another layer if it needs it. The ladies on the coach rehab thread would know best.

Did you bathe the bag first or just condition? Sometimes a bath and then conditioning helps bring dry bags back to life.
