When they box up your Tiffany…

I have a question; when we purchase a silver piece from Tiffany, they put it in a blue box with a white satin bow. When we buy Tiffany gold, do we get a fancier blue box? Or is it a black velvet box? I have seen this blue box and would love to know if we get this adorable box! Here is a sample photo:

These are all my fine jewelry Tiffany boxes that I could find. (I know I’m missing one and I don’t recall what it looked like.)

But I did get my pieces a while ago and have not bought any new pieces recently or pieces from new collections.



Perhaps the box in your photo is a recent development?

I think they made the change in 2021. Now, at least in my store, we get blue leather boxes for all fine jewelry purchases. Before, the blue leather boxes technically were only available for engagement rings and wedding bands. But after the LVMH acquisition, not sure if it was already in the works, they made blue leather boxes available for all the jewelry categories.

I imagine the stores are probably instructed to use up all the black velvet boxes. Not sure if they’ve all been used up by now, but I don’t think the black boxes are in production anymore.

Edit: Regardless of RG, WG, YG, or other metals if a certain item reaches a price point they will provide these cute leather boxes and it also depends on the SA.

So if anyone purchased it now, it should come in the blue leather box and it also depends on the SA. I received the blue leather boxes for silver purchases, thanks to my SA.

I feel like every piece should in those gorgeous blue leather boxes! I’ve also noticed if you ask for one, they are often more than happy to provide you one! Tiffany has great customer service! I hope for whatever piece you get that it comes in the lovely leather blue box! After all it’s such a stunning display case on the vanity!

I don't think I bought anything T after 2021, so I was also confused about the boxes (all mine (yg or rg) are black velvet).

I don't mind which colour the boxes are but it makes much more sense that they're Tiffany blue, especially since there are quite a few companies that also have black.

Just want to say I bought a simple rose gold piece, the Tiffany smile bracelet and I got a blue case! It is such a beautiful box, love the Tiffany blue color
