When don't you carry your Coach bags?

I never take my Coach bags to the casinos because of the smoke smell. Also when we were waiting in line to go into one of the resturants to have dinner (in the casino) Someone behind me got too close and burned a hole in my leather bag with a cigarette. Thank God it wasn't a Coach.

I also try to not take my Coach bags into public restrooms. Usually I just leave it with my husband (if we're in a resturant). Lots of stalls don't have hooks to hang your bag from and I'll be damned if I'll put it down on the floor or the back of the toilet.

When I went on vacation to a big city I left my Coach bags behind and just took a cheap nylon bag I had forgotten I had! At the time all my bags were either legacy or totes so I didn't really have any bags that seemed right.

I can't remember any other time I haven't taken a Coach bag recently. I have a good variety so weather is never an issue!

when i'm outstation on workshop/ training/ site visits..
that's when my trusty lesportsac tokidoki comes in handy for those unpredictable outdoors weather conditions!!

I won't take mine to places where I know that there isn't a clean spot to put it down (i.e. movie theaters, some bars). I don't take mine into public restrooms, either, if I can avoid it!

yes, I don't like to expose my girls to the elements. I carry my swingpack/crossbody or nothing if it's raining.
And yes, that's what husbands and best friends are for (my friends are guys, I'm training them). I did find a hangy thingy at bed bath and beyond, the as seen on tv thing, that you can hang your purse on a table, etc. it looks like a hook. My smaller ones works well with that, but not my big totes.
I have twins and a 6 year old. I put the kids in the car, my oldest holds the bag (he says "respect the coach") and waits to get in the car, and then I place my bag on the front seat, cause she rides shotgun :P
I have never owned nice bags before so I'm neurotic with the girls. I love my girls...

Hmmm, I can't say that I don't take my coach bag anywhere. If a stall doesn't have a hook, I keep it on my arm with some maneuvering. I won't take one to the beach, but that goes without saying I guess. Same goes if I am going to the Bahamas but that's also b/c we are bumming on the boat all day and I have no need for a purse period...

How cute that your son rides shotgun! He knows haw to treat a nice bag.

Funny you asked  I absolutely refuse to use a Coach purse when I meet up with a galpal of mine because she's a smoker. We went out for supper the other night and she asked where's my Ali and I was like, I ain't going to bring her with me to see you or else she will end up smelling like ciggie smoke

Not to the zoo, not to concerts, not to festivals, not on vacation (my vacations usually involve hiking and/or travel to developing countries), not when I visit my best friend out-of-state because she doesn't make much money and I don't want to flaunt my bags, not to the movies if I plan to have snacks. Coach are my main take-to-work bags and sometimes going out bags. But Tokidoki's are my main weekend/fun bags.

I don't take my coach bags to the casino/working out/sporting events/bars/my parents house (I'm a grown ass woman but my mom hates finding out when I spend my $$ on coach stuff, so I just don't show her anymore)... normally if I know I'm going to be somewhere where there are a lot of people or I won't be able to put my bag down somewhere, then I typically won't carry my bag with... I'll usually carry a wristlet or something small (but it will always be coach of course!)

I used to be very protective over my new Coach bags. As time went on and as I collected a more, I am using them for everything. I probably won't take them to a smokey place.

I used to avoid taking my nice Coach bags when I travel, but now, ironically, I take my Louis Vuitton GM NeverFull because it is such a great big tote and can carry anything. I guess it really depends on where you're at. If I were to go visit a third world country, I'd grab my RuMe fold away shopping bags instead.
