When don't you carry your Coach bags?

I would not take my Coach bags to any place where there is smoking or if I know that the place will not be clean.

I have certain bags that are just for the Beach, or for the weekend, for Clubs or for dinner. That way I can contain the damage to my bags...

i'm only without a bag when i do home visits with my patients but that's only because i don't carry any bag (except my nursing bag) into patients' home...

:nuts:oooo!! now i have a mission to find a vintage-y bag off of ebay to stuff my nursing gear into for visits!!!

My daughter is a public health nurse and does not even take her Coach bags in her car for home visits.

I am a retired scrub nurse and took mine to work, because our OR was right there in the office and I just put it behind my desk where nobody could see it.

I don't take my coach bags to the casino/working out/sporting events/bars/my parents house (I'm a grown ass woman but my mom hates finding out when I spend my $$ on coach stuff, so I just don't show her anymore)... normally if I know I'm going to be somewhere where there are a lot of people or I won't be able to put my bag down somewhere, then I typically won't carry my bag with... I'll usually carry a wristlet or something small (but it will always be coach of course!)

That looks exactly like my list CoachGirl! Haha! And I have the same problem with my mom. It's true I could probably be saving up some of that Coach money I use, but I do save money. My mom likes Coach, but in small quantities.

I would also have to include the vet on my list. Haha! I just took my cat Otis yesterday to have his teeth checked out, and everytime we take him to the vet it's a struggle. Basically fur flying everywhere! Plus there are so many other pets at the vet - it's fur mania! I would go insane if my Coach purse came home looking like my cat. I need to be hands free anyway in case Otis tries to make an escape.

The salon.
I read on here a few months ago about a girl that went to the salon and got drops of hair dye on her leather bag. I don't even know what I would do in that situation. I don't think I'd have the guts to flip out at the hairdresser since I know it would be an accident, but I would just die
So I just avoid the potential situation altogether by leaving my nice bags at home.

I carry my bags pretty much everywhere. Every once in a while I carry my bags in a club or bar. It depends on the type of bar/club and where it is located in the city. Thank goodness many clubs/bars are smoke free in my area.

yes, I don't like to expose my girls to the elements. I carry my swingpack/crossbody or nothing if it's raining.
And yes, that's what husbands and best friends are for (my friends are guys, I'm training them). I did find a hangy thingy at bed bath and beyond, the as seen on tv thing, that you can hang your purse on a table, etc. it looks like a hook. My smaller ones works well with that, but not my big totes.
I have twins and a 6 year old. I put the kids in the car, my oldest holds the bag (he says "respect the coach") and waits to get in the car, and then I place my bag on the front seat, cause she rides shotgun :P
I have never owned nice bags before so I'm neurotic with the girls. I love my girls...
:roflmfao: that is so cute

well i like to always havfe a coach or LV. but i have a small pebbled leather hobo from the outlets, v plain and simple, doesnt scream coach. i use this for travelling, going to restuarants anywhere i dont want to take one of my really expensive bags.

:lolots::roflmfao: (I love cats, but that is too funny. I once found one of our kittens sleeping on my Parker hippie and I took pictures before I gently moved him elsewhere.)
