When did you get glasses?

Since grade four, so I guess I was about 9. I couldn't see the chalkboard.

I've been wearing glasses since I was 12 years old and I am now 29 years old. I use my contact lenses for special occassions.

I was 17 when I got my glasses/contacts. I stopped being able to read road signs. That's when I knew I had to get them. ush:

I was 10, and it was because I couldn't see the writing on the blackboard. I was the first in my class to get glasses.

I was 4, I had them until I was 15 and then suddenly my vision was perfect.
Near perfect. I'm still a touch farsighted in my left eye, but I don't need a prescription!

I was 10 or 11...and I was so vain I went straight to contacts...now I'm too lazy for contacts a lot of the time....but I know i look better without glasses.

whatever 2nd grade is...i think that is when i started...my eyes just kept getting worse after that. then i had LASIK about 1.5 years ago....woo hooo...i can see clearly now!!!

Yeah, see, I'd assume that most people would figure it out around grade school, but my vision's always been fine. I'm 26 and I'm only now having problems. But my mom was the same way, turned 24 and suddenly needed glasses, I'm wondering if anyone else experienced that?

My husband was in his late teens. He probably should have gotten then years prior, but he pretended to be fine. Men.

6-7 ? Brutal, combination of bad genes and lots of tv. I'm halfway there to legally blind !
