did you base your choice on:

1. The metal colour of your existing jewellery (e.g. Wedding/engagement rings, watch etc);

2. What colour metal suited your skin tone best; or

3. What metal colour you considered "classic" for the Love?

Hi, I have a YG ‘small’ Love. I chose YG because:

1. YG suits my skin tone best

2. Most (but not all) of my other jewellery is YG (I don’t mind mixing metals but predominantly wear YG)

Whether the colour was ‘classic’ or not didn’t cross my mind! I love mine (excuse the pun!) and would happily choose the same again.

HTHs!

I don't mind mixing metals either but I really love the classic yellow gold LOVE bracelet. My wedding ring is yellow gold but the rings I wear on my right hand are platinum. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the golds.

I personally don’t mind mixing metals and the first love I bought I went with the metal color I love most: rose gold. I have fair Asian skin tone and while most Asian people don’t like the fact that it “blends” in with our skin color I actually love the rosey tone. Over time it definitely turned more yellow gold though, which is a shame because I loved its original color.

I think for anyone considering their first Love they should buy the color that they are drawn to whether it matches your other jewelry or not. You should love the color that you get!

I like mixing my metals as well. I have a YG Love and a RG JUC although my wedding ring and anniversary band are platinum. My watch is SS and my Love necklace is YG. I am Asian mix and YG looks better on my skin tone but the RG JUC was screaming for me LOL.

I went with classic and got YG. Most of my jewelry is actually white gold and sterling silver and I'm super fair skinned with cool tones so typically white gold and silver compliment my skin tone better. However, since the plain WG love wasn't rhodium plated, I didn't care for the stainless steel shade of their WG. I also looked at countless photos on here to see how the various colors looked over time and determined that the YG and RG retained more of a shine as they developed their patina as opposed to WG which took on even more of a stainless steel/matte appearance (IMO). I'm not a fan of RG so that easily narrowed it down to the YG for me and I have never regretted the decision. It's timeless.

I chose rose gold just because I like it best out of the 3 options. The fact that it "blends in" with my skintone never deterred me, and I actually think it looks really complementary.

I chose based on what was classic! It's the only yellow gold piece I own. Yellow gold has been around for thousands of years and I expect it will be the standard for gold and luxury for thousands to come.

I always thought I’d get a pair of Loves- WG and RG. The WG has always been my first choice as I’m a silver person and ALL my jewellery is either in WG or plat.

In the end I bought the RG first even though I liked the WG much more. The rationale was that if I’d gotten the WG, I may never end up getting the RG. So I forced myself to buy the RG first and sure enough I can’t stop fantasizing about the WG and that should be happening in the next month when I can get it tax free

So the moral of the story is, they’re all beautiful and you can’t go wrong with any colour. Just pick what you want!
