You are so sweet to ask! I’ve been wanting to post, but have been busy.

Day 2, it looked much better. I’ll post a pic below. gave it a second treatment—and the next day, she looked even better!

Then I gave it a couple days rest (plus I have been traveling).

I just picked her up just now and almost couldn’t find the mark!!!! It is tgere, but I had to look for it.

Notes—I applied white vinegar with a clean cotton ball each time. I gently rubbed ( not scrubbed), north, south, east, west, and each diagonal. Gently, slowly, and one direction at a time.

Let her dry completely and then a gave a gentle brush.

The last treatment, some of the “hairs” started to come out, so I stopped.

Each time I used vinegar, it made the suede feel thin and paperlike. It scared me, but it was fine… I think.

I might do one last gentle treatment.

I am very lucky that the friction from the wheel did not actually burn the suede.

I have since cleaned other areas and she has never looked better!

FYI—years ago, I used a whole bottle of suede cleaner on this bag (a yellow liquid that is supped to turn into a foam) and it did not do nearly as good a job as the vinegar.

YMMV, but I am shocked at the outcome!

Now, I want more suede in my life!

Last night, I tried a 3rd cleaning. No difference. I've hit the point of dimensioning returns after 2 thorough cleanings. The stain is there, and I can see it, but it's close to the bottom of the bag and it not noticeable.

And the suede still feels nice and soft. At this point, I should probably give it a suede protector spray.

Would I try this on a super expensive bag? I'm not sure. But my little Tod's won this battle and I am perfectly pleased.
