We have all heard of what brands people use, but many people dont break it down into their daily regimes. So I think this thread can really help people determine products they can use with the information from fellow TPF's.
(Please include your skin type, brand/product names & what about your skin your trying to target or mantain everyone!) I'd also like to hear what people use on their body.

Here's My Skincare Regime

Toner: Kiehls french rosewater
Exfoliator/Serum: Renee Rouleau 10% glycolic serum
Eye Moisturizer: I use my face moisturizer
Facial Moisturizer: I have various kinds from Creme de la Mer, Sonya Dakar or just some straight up Vaseline works great.
Sunscreen: Neutrogena age defense SPF 45 or Alba Lavender SPF 30 or Avalon Organics baby mineral SPF 18 (spread over body also)

As you can see i LOVE clinique - my skin is the best condition it has ever been in thanks to it!

Occasionally I use other things like masks, but this is my daily routine

Face:
Skin type: normal to dry

Targeting: improve clarity and overall tone

Cleanser: ilike nettle cleanser, epicuren herbal citrus, Perricone nutritive cleanser

Toner: none, unless you count tea tree oil which I use on occasion

Exfoliator/Serum: h2t pumpkin peel, lucrece pumpkin peel, epicuren hot peel, epicuren extra fine herbal scrub, Biomedic exfoliator. I do lactic peels as well (my own brand)
Eye Moisturizer: Perricone Advanced Eye Therapy

Facial Moisturizer: Epicuren hydroplus when I'm really dry, Epicuren's propolis, Lucrece Regenerative Cream with AHA (am)

Sunscreen: my lucrece AHA cream has SPF 15 in it and so does my mineral make up, Skinceuticals or Perricone tinted moisturizer if out at the pool or beach.

I love good products. I use my pumpkin scrubs every 3 days or so. Epicuren hot peel about every 2 weeks and a lactic peel every 20-25 days (20% very mild)

Body:
Skin type: normal
Cleanser: ilike nettle cleanser, JJ baby shampoo, Clarins Cleansing Milk
Moisturizer: Nivea or Cetaphil
Sunscreen: my Nivea has SPF 4 which is everyday but at the beach I use banana boat 50spf.

Face:

Skin type: Combination, oily all over in hot/humid weather
Cleanser: Cetaphil Daily Cleanser for normal to oily or Purpose Daily Cleanser (liquid), Proactiv scrub if breaking out
Toner: normally do not use, but if I do, whatever is in the cabinet, I think Proactiv kit leftovers
Exfoliator/Serum: The Proactiv cleanser also does this task- it has beads in it
Facial Moisturizer: Currently, Oil of Olay daily lotion w/ SPF. Purpose's daily lotion is quite good too.
Sunscreen: Only used on face/neck/hands daily from what is in face lotion. For going outside, other than just to work, oil free in SPF of 30 or above.

I also use those Biore strips once a week and the Proactiv mask once a week (if I remember that step).

Body: I'm really lax on moisturizers for the body and have no routine at all.

Sounds like some great products you use! The pumpkin peels sound so delicous... Do you find the peels remove the dead cells quickly and keep them away for awhile? Because I have dry skin, and If I skip a few days of not exfoliating with a serum my skin builds up again and gets flakey.

Cool thread:biggrin:, here goes my routine... I have a lot of stuff... but it's not just randomly using things, I follow the exact order everyday like a machine lol

Age: 21
Sex: :girlsigh:
Ethnicity: Asian (east/oriental)
Targeting:
- Keeping skin moisturized without blocking my pores or causing breakouts (a very difficult task since I can NOT just slather on as much oily creams as I want)
- Whitening/Brightening skin and preventing freckles/spots
- Reducing blue circles and puffiness around eyes
Cleanser:
- Morning: Lancome's Pure Focus Exfoliator (gentle enough for everyday)
- Afternoon/Night/Removing makeup: Lancome's Mousse Clarte
Toner:
- Morning/Afternoon: Vichy's Normaderm Purifying Astringent
- Night: Lancome's Blanc Expert
Moisturizer:
- Morning/under Makeup: Lancome's Blanc Expert whitening milk/lotion OR Lancome's Bienfait SPF30
- Afternoon/night: La Prairie's Intensive Anti-wrinkle Anti-spot cream
- Once in a while: Lancome's Absolue Premium SPF cream

- Everytime after cleansing face: Lancome's Blanc Expert Supreme Whitening serum

- (Also recently acquired Lancome's Absolue Premium eyecream recently, have yet to test it out)

Body:
Skin type
: Normal; not much hair imo...
Cleanser:
- Trunk: soap from Dove lol (not spending money for things that will go directly down the drain lol)
- Limbs: Dove's Cream-Oil Body Wash
Moisturizer:
- Body: La Prairie's Body Emulsion and Bvulgari's Eau Parfume au The Blanc
- Hands: La Prairie's Handcream (recently got l'Occitane's Shea Butter 20% Handcream which I despise... highly UNsatisfactory to me)
Sunscreen:
- Lancome's with SPF45 (forget the name)
Self-tanner:
- Lancome's Flash Bronzer (lotion/milk type)
Shampoo and conditionner:
- Pantene and/or John Frieda

I don't get flakey but my skin feels different (like not as clean) when I don't use them. Probably because of the build up. The pumpkin peel is so mild it can be use multiple times a week just like any exfoliator. We don't only get skin build up, but oil, junk in the air, etc. The lactic peels though I only do when I feel like I need them (roughly 3-6 weeks) depending on my life. These are fairly mild as well.

Your skin shouldn't flake like though-sounds like you need a better moisturizer. You need hydration!

I'm a big fan of less is more with skin care...if I go through too many steps it over stimulates my skin and just irritates it. I also try to avoid scented skin care and cosmetics; I'd rather my perfume do the talking instead of something else, KWIM?

My skin type: combo! Dry cheeks and oily T-zone which can be both oily and flake-y if that's even possible. Plus I'm on the brink of 41 and STILL get zits occasionally!

Face: St. Ives apricot scrub in the shower in the a.m. I then rinse and use Neutrogena rainbath shower gel on my face and body. If my elbows are feeling a little rough I'll use the St. Ives scrub on them as well.

Face in the PM: I alternate between Neutrogena's Pore Refining cleanser (a gentle cream cleanser in a tube with some exfoliation beads in it) and Arbonne's hydrating face wash:
REnewing.jpg

I then use a little Neutrogena oil-free eyemakeup remover, rinse with water and then use a little eye cream before going to bed. I love Arbonne's, but I just got a buttload of samples from a recent nordstrom online beauty order, so I've got Clarins, Kinerase, Philosophy, Lancome, you name it!

I do not believe in toner, even on my oilier areas. It's just a total waste of money for me.

Facials: every couple weeks or so I use Arbonne's Exfoliating Masque with thermal fusion. I love it because it's done in 5 minutes. It is a bit intense, so it should be done at night before going to bed, otherwise your face is super flushed afterwards, at least for me.

ETA: I ALWAYS use a moisturizer with SPF 15 or higher before putting on my makeup. I don't live in a super sunny climate, but I know it's helped me stay as minimally wrinkly as possible (so far!). My moisturizer during the day is Neutrogena Healthy Skin with SPF 15 and alpha hydroxy. It's perfect, light and unscented. I put it on and let it set while I get dressed. Then, I do my makeup.
