What’s your newest, oldest, most used, least used, favorite, least favorite, funkist, impulsive purchased bag?

I love this thread! It’s so fun to read other people’s stories of their bags.

Newest: 22S Pearl Crush Rectangular Mini in Black. I’ve been wanting a mini for a couple of years but they never have any in stock. Minis are impossible to get on an island. My SA contacted me in March that they received a shipment of the Pearl Crush. I had to have it. I still continue to crave the classic mini square because it’s so cute.​

Oldest: 00-01 flap bag, square quilt (chocolate bar) in Black. I didn’t like the traditional Diamond quilt back then.​

Most used: 20B Filigree Caviar Wallet on Chain in Black. It’s great for going anywhere. I love how it’s different and kind of incognito.​

Least used: My Classic Flaps as they sit too high on me (at my waist) as a crossbody. I love crossbody bags.​

Favorite: 18B 11.12 Classic Flap Bag, Chevron Quilt, Crinkled Calf, Black, Frosted/Iridescent in Medium. I love chevron and sparkles! I just love looking at it.​

Least favorite: It’s also my oldest, the 00-01 Chanel flap bag, square quilt (chocolate bar). I am debating if I want to sell it as I am not in love with it. However, it was cheap compared to the bags now at the current prices.​

Funkiest: 09P Chanel 2.55 Flap, 227, Diamond quilt, Pink and White, Degrade. It’s so colorful in a sea of black Chanel bags.​

Impulsive: 21B 11.12 Classic Flap Bag, Diamond Quilt, Lambskin, So Black in Medium. Backstory on the So Black, I bought it on a whim when I was dropping off my 01A East West Chocolate Bar bag in Fuchsia to be “lotioned” since it felt parched. My SA said she had a surprise for me when I came in. She brought out the So Black bag they just got in. All the other customers in the store that passed by kept asking to see it since I was trying it on. I was not going to leave without it. It’s one of my dream bags. I had to buy it!​

I was supposed to be on a bag ban. I had already bought a WOC, another Medium Classic Flap, LV Speedy 22, and several other designer bags and accessories in a short time span. I always save my money and don’t splurge much. I think I was COVID binge shopping to say the least. Hahaha. This is what happens when you don’t buy bags for a long time. For me I didn’t go out shopping because my kid would cry when I would go into the stores. All these purchases occurred when my husband and kid weren’t with me. Unsupervised shopping. Lol.​

Newest: Chanel Trendy CC So Black (22B)
Oldest: First purchase would be the ultimate soft hobo. However, I did purchase a preloved Medallion Tote that is the oldest in age (based on serial number)
Most Used: Ultimate soft hobo (lambskin). It can be low key when the logo pull is tucked in. It's also very lightweight and buttery soft.
Least Used: ultra soft suede calfskin
Favorite: So Black Aged Reissue 226
Least Favorite: White Accordian Bag that I eventually sold. If only I had purchased it in black. I stressed too much when wearing this bag and over time, I felt the white didn't stay crisp and age well.
Funkiest: Ultra soft suede calfskin in a beautiful yellow, which I also eventually sold because it wasn't a stress free bag either.
Impulsive: Boy WOC. Walked into the boutique to browse and asked about the WOC, and they happen to have several to choose from.

Oldest: vintage 30 years old Chanel camera bag

Most used: Chanel caviar reissue 226

Least used: same as my oldest

Favorite: Chanel PTT

Least Favorite: Fendi small peekaboo bag (not the easiest to access due to the design)

Funkiest: none

Impulsive: none as all sold

Newest: If we are talking about newest by production date - Small 19 from 22K

Oldest: Jumbo classic flap from 2008

Most used: 225 reissue in dark silver metallic - such a versatile bag that can be dressy or casual

Least used: Jumbo classic flap, as above

Favorite/least favorite: None for now, because I love them all and I’m happy I have a bag for every occasion, depending on what I’m carrying and where I’m going.

Funkiest: none

Impulsive: Coco First in mini. Didn’t plan on getting it and I definitely wasn’t in the market for another black bag but saw it while traveling and loved the look. Wish it was available in burgundy at the boutique when I purchased!

Least Used: this is bad- I have a few that I’ve never used. Overlaps with least favorite. 22C print hobo, 21P pink bucket, 23C white round w/ weird handle




Favorite: 21K sequin flap

Least Favorite: see least used. Probably the print hobo

Funkiest: White shell clutch (my only pre-loved bag, technically a VIP gift and not even a retail item)

newest: 23p mini reissue in ecru


oldest: coco shine black patent small flap which can also double as my least favorite! My ex had surprised me with a trip to Chanel to buy my first flap for a push present! The only bag they had in stock was the coco shine. I don’t like patent at all. Both he and the sa were insistent on me getting the bag so I just went with with lol. I was happy about it at the time because it was my first and I had been telling him that I wanted a flap for a long time! He just didn’t want me to leave empty handed and at the time the waitlist was super long!


most used: sm/med 19 lambskin
black with mixed hardware and red interior. Such an easy carry!

least used: sm/med gray 19 with brushed silver hardware. This gray is a weird one. So days it looks like a good light gray others it looks like an old green-gray so I just don’t reach for it.

favorite: medium boy chevron light pink with gold hardware

least favorite: I have a love-hate relationship with this one! Maybe not least favorite but definitely most frustrating. white lambskin with aged gold hardware my perfect mini. This bag is so cute and I get tons of compliments on it when I wear it but it’s so frustrating to carry. My daily items don’t fit properly so I have to play Tetris with this bag all day when I carry it!

impulsive purchased: 21k boy woc in caramel. I really wanted a 19 caramel and I didn’t think my SA would be able to pull off getting me one as our store was only getting two! She offered me a medium boy first which I declined and then a boy woc in caramel second which I took! A few weeks later she was also able to pull off getting me the 19 that I originally wanted!
