Hi Lovelies, ok so I’m obsessed with adding a bi colour Empreinte bag to my collection after seeing a lady carrying a gorgeous Montaigne BB but sadly that’s not available in the UK :annoyed:
I do like the new Madeleine that’s coming out end of April :heart::love:
I’d love to hear which bag you prefer in this print….. TIA

I have neonoe in the taupe/creme color (can’t remember actual color name). I can honestly say that it is one of my least used bags, and I’m considering selling it. I prefer the original neonoe design where the zip is sewn to the bag. The neonoe bicolor slouches and looses shape without the zip, since the sewn-zip provided inner structural support. I would use it A LOT more if it were the og neonoe design. I like OTG (on the go) too for bicolor.

Between the two colors, I like taupe/creme more than black/creme. Black/creme in the wild is too gaudy for me. It’s so high contrast, that if you don’t have the “right” outfit for it, it just looks tacky.

Be warned, I’ve seen the bicolors in brick and mortar secondhand shops, and the creme color is prone to chipping/flaking off. I’ve only seen it on the black/creme bags, but it could easily happen to the taupe/creme, for all I know.

Thanks so much for replying, I did wonder if it could chip or flake off, I’ve recently purchased the key holder (cles) but have yet to use it and did consider returning it for this reason and especially as I use my mono one daily and it gets used and abused and I’m not sure if the bi colour could take that sort of battering iykwim.

If it does flake off and you decide to get rid of it, you can still sell it for a fairly good price (assuming you sell it when it’s still “in”). The chipped bags I saw were around $200-$300 less than retail, which I thought was bonkers.

So I purchased the Pouchette Metis in the bicolor as well as the key holder.

The PM chipped within weeks, however, the key holder is still holding strong. I've had it since November. I beat the crap out of it, and it shows no sign of wear.

The returns manager at LV told me that they are seeing this quality issue primarily in the PM. The other pieces don't seem to be affected.

I’m waiting for the Madeleine BB to be released! This is such a cute bag and my favorite in the bi color leather.

Really it chips! well I may have to pass this in the Madeleine bb in this print.

I wonder why it’s mainly happening on the PM, seems strange that it’s not happening to other items.

Do you maybe got pictures of the chipped Métis? Im kinda curious how it looks like :panic:
