I hadn’t traveled in over three years other than road trips and I am taking a business trip in two weeks. I love light weight clothing for traveling but I hate looking frumpy. Show me some examples of what you like to wear when traveling please!

I prefer to look polished when traveling since I usually hit the ground running as soon as I land. I typically wear a pair of dark jeans with stretch for comfort and pair them with a silk blouse and blazer or nice cardigan. This has been my travel uniform for many years and it works well for me. If you like to. wear dresses, a longer lightweight maxi dress might work for you. Shorter dresses and skirts can be tricky and uncomfortable when traveling IMHO.

What about footwear?

For me it depends if it's an overnight flight or not.
If it's overnight, I have to be able to sleep in whatever I wear ( I will NOT put pajamas on in a plane, no way no how), so usually will be loose pants, a tank or tee, with a cardigan over it. Ballet flats or *maybe* nice slip on sneakers. Paskho makes (or made?) an amazing pair of travel pants that are loose but nice-looking and have a passport-sized zip pocket. Athleta also has some options.
Daytime is much easier: jeans or nice slim trousers and a light knit/cashmere pullover (airplanes are usually cold) over a linen long-sleeved tee (in case the airplane gets hot, which also happens LOL). Same shoes: ballet flats or nice slip-on sneakers.

I’ve always been comfortable in Lululemon’s to/from clothes, especially their sweater wraps. I also just got a Uniqlo men’s Comfort Blazer in a small size that fits me…it looks polished but the fabric is almost like fleece.

I have a travel uniform. Cashmere sweater or cardigan; t-shirt; a pair of smart tapered black golf pants that have an elastic band; white sneakers. I need something that will allow me to look polished; sleep comfortably in the pod (I like to nap in the pod even if a daytime flight); keep me warm or cool as the plane changes temperatures; walk comfortably through the airport.

My current travel uniform:

Warm weather
Tailored shorts or culottes
Soft t-shirt eg Dior
Chanel cardigan, Hermes equestrian or Dior Boy's rain hoodies
Chypres

Cold weather
Long trousers with elastic back and pockets
Cotton t shirt
Chanel cardigan or jacket/ Dior Cannage quilted jacket/ Down coat by Moncler / Fur coat
Dior Espadrilles/ Chanel ballet flats/ Hermes sneakers

On flights > 8-12 hours I change into the PJs provided by airlines. This keeps my outfit hung up and fresh for arrival. I do not travel for business as such. It's all leisure now.

Same as above

I prefer a Dior t shirt (I have multiples of the same and similar ones)
A cashmere hoodie cardigan, either Turnbull & Asser XS (I have a few) or brunello or LP gift of kings
ALTHETA or vuori or brunello soft jogger/cargos or emirates PJ joggers
Socks (my feet get cold)
Sneakers (birkenstock or MtM hiro Yanagimachi
Felt Evelyne TPM bc it is rugged (felt is super durable) and blends into clothing so i can wear in an airplane seat
I like a VCA six motif GMOP necklace bc it’s light and doesn’t set off the metal detector. While it’s not inexpensive, it is replaceable if lost, damaged, or stolen.
DH wears similar, and sometimes we wear the same thing (navy H sweater and gray cargo pants), so I try to check what clothing he’s set out to make sure we’re not twins lol (he does wear denim jeans and engineer or Chelsea boots more than I do, which does make me feel like we aren’t exactly wearing the same thing)

I love his boots! Would you mind sharing the brand?
My dh is just getting into wearing boots/booties and I think he will like your husband's

Thank you. MtM Chelsea boots by Corthay. Custom colored, and when we picked them up in Paris, we asked them to redye a shade darker. Comfortable out of the box. No breaking in required. DH also adores Edward Greene 202 last boots, I think unlined leather

@A bottle of Red , I edited to add links above, plus this product for suede

A waiter spilled ketchup on DHs new beige suede HY sneakers, and they cleaned up perfectly.
