My best friend loves dinosaurs and is graduating at the end of this school year. I wasn't aware that Coach was featuring dinosaurs in its designs until I saw an ad today. The Coach website refers to the dinosaurs as mascots but nothing further. Can someone please explain the dinosaurs? Have they been featured in multiple collections, seasons, and designs? Have they trickled into the outlet stores? I am trying to figure out whether to take advantage of the Thanksgiving discount or wait to see what other designs come out in the 6 months until her graduation. Thanks!

The dinosaurs have been around for probably nearly a year now. I think the reason for the dinosaurs is just because the head of Coach likes them and apparently so do the customers. From what I've heard, very few items are finding their way to the outlets.....I think only an older tote and an older version wristlet have been mentioned. I'm not sure if those items were sent to the outlet or if they were customer returns. The bag charms sell out online for the most part, but stores still have some stock. You better get what you want while the sale is on because there's no guarantee they'll be around by graduation time.
Don't wait ... get the items you want while they're on sale during the Thanksgiving promotion. There's no guarantee what will be available later this year or early next year.
Yes, I agree! I was surprised to see it. And, it was funny because I had just seen this thread.
I'm not certain I have a means to post pictures. I picked up the magazine at Target. It has Reese Witherspoon on the cover. Try GOOGLING "#REXYTHECOACHDINO." Also, I don't know if this has been mentioned previously, but it looks like Coach has a channel on "YOUTUBE."
