whats the difference between evergrain and evercalf?

Pepper, jemz' evercalf Birkin does not look good to me. It's not been taken care of properly. It's so dry. My Evercalf KP does not look abit like it.

It doesn't look right to me either....I had a rigid Bolide about 10 years ago which looked EXACTLY the same as this Birkin, same color and same contrast stitching, and my bag was Ebene Gulliver.....
