What's the age gap between you and your SO?

No matter what age I've been, I always dated guys that were 5-15 years older than me. I never found the men that were the same age as me very interesting, whether I was 16 (first SO was 21!), 25, or 35. The first hubby was only 5 years older than me.

Now the funny part is as I got OLDER, I started looking at guys closer to my own age (that could be psychoanalyzed to death!) My second and current husband of 10+ years is only 9 months older than me: nine months to the day! It was a running joke from the beginning of our relationship that he was headed "out the chute" at the same time *I* was headed "into the chute." :smartass:

My DH is 5 years older than me, I tease him and call him "old man" because he is in his 30's and I'm still in my 20's very late 20's :rolleyes:
