Wow, very nice gesture on Coach's part (in 1991).
I was a struggling college student in those days and only bought 2-3 Coach bags/accessories a year, and only ever from the outlets, so I guess I wasn't a 'special' customer back then....
I'm a big bookmark gal myself (I just posted about the C.O.A.C.H. neon ones in that thread....).
I also picked up two of the Camo ones they had out in the last floorset (one to gift to my friend who's family is military) . I think I'm one of the few who still prefer actual books to e-books!

same but unfortunately i get in trouble for the genre i like to read. So if I want to read them in peace, i have to go the e-book method.
Oh no, you are far from one of a few CA...you are one of MANY! I am from a family of readers and most of us are 'tech savvy' and we all want a book in our hand and not a Kindle or iPad for reading.
These leather bookmarks look nice, I'll have to try one.
I love books and have a large collection, and never thought I would like a kindle or nook. But I bought Kindle fires for the grandkids and liked how they could download books so fast, so I got the Kindle app to try it out on my ipad and really liked it. I wound up with my own kindle and like it for reading novels, mysteries, etc. and for the easy adjustment of the fonts.
But I still love my books for research and for the photos, etc.

I never actually used it as a bookmark. It's been in the envelope I received it in since 91. I was afraid I'd lose it. IMO, it's thicker than the ones I normally use (which are poster board thick).
I read every day. I used to have a weighted leather bookmark that held the book open when I was reading it. I loved that bookmark. Now I mostly use whatever is lying around. A Coach bookmark isn't on my wishlist but you never know.
When we were traveling this summer, I brought a few books along but once I finished those, I started reading ebooks. One thing I really love is that you can mark the exact word where you left off. I still prefer reading real books but ebooks are so convenient when traveling or while waiting in the doctor's office.

I usually use tissue paper as bookmark if i am unable to look for a bookmark...one time a friend lend me some books and after i returned it, she asked me about all the tissues she keep on seeing inside the book..i told her i didn't feel comfortable dogearring the pages of a book especially if it was borrowed...
