I finally get to go to the MK boutique in London next weekend to spend an MK voucher I received in place of a defective Selma. I was hoping that you kind ladies would have some recommendations on what's new for Spring?! Photos very welcome. Looking forward to some inspiration for spending my voucher!:woohoo::yahoo::happydance:

I'm jealous you were able to get a gift card for your defective Selma ): I asked asked MK customer service and they said no to me and no refunds I can only get a replacement but the replacement stock and the store inventory are different so every colour I have picked was unavailable..

But I do agree with pale pink! That would be my choice if I had a gift card for sure!!

I wish I could wear those pretty pastels like that pink . But I would have that ruined in a months time! lol! Between my outdoor husband taking me on the boat and motorcycle all the time, no pastels for me! I can wear pretty colored shirts and tops, but not bags or shoes. . I have to stick with black, browns, dark reds or blues, and sometimes silver.

The Frankie Drawstring Tote, is really hot this year. I was going to get the silver mesh, but now I am looking at this one. Not very springy, but would work for me and I would imagine, plenty of others too!.

I like this bag, but I worry how the chain will look after a while going in and out all those holes. I can get one for quite a good price, but I'm hesitant ..

As long as you get the silver you have nothing to worry about. All the MK hardware is silver to begin with and it is the gold only, that is painted over THAT silver. The silver metal, is a silver alloy that is not painted on. That is one of the many reasons I prefer the silver hardware on MK bags, It won't fade like the gold does. You can polish it and everything.

Plus, since the bag has a magnetic snap closure like your Hamiltons, you don't really need to use the drawstring. It is more decorative, than anything. You can pretty much set it at one useful size for you, unless you would need to fill it up or something, than you can make the bag bigger.

New colors of Selma are pale pink of course, fuschia, mandarin, light blue (in love with).
Studded versions are smaller but still beautiful.
How much do you have to spend?

Are the shorter straps available with chains? My luggage color Frankie has only leather straps. I like the look of this!

I know, I like those the ones with the chains as well. I see them on ebay. Not sure where else. I did not see any on the MK website. Did you know you can buy your own chains straps and hook them onto your bags. I have a really nice chain strap I bought and I can interchamge onto most any of my bags. It looks awesome! Even better than a charm! lol! They come in gold or silver and many lengths.

Yes, I love the luggage colors too but this one only has gold or I saw some rose gold, hardware and chains. I wanted to get this in luggage too, but don't like how their gold painted hardware peels off, so I always try to stick with the silver because there is no paint on it to peel off. I have not seen one in the luggage color with silver hardware. Is a shame because I really like the luggage color too.. Only the black , red and silver mesh Frankie, comes with the silver hardware. Oh and I saw pink with silver as well.
