What's in a name?

I never gave a name to any bag of mine.... That is a cute idea !!!

I used to name them but H already has such lovely names I don´t bother anymore!

^ITA! H gives it's bags great, elegant names. It's not like some other brands with their bland labels (I have a Gucci that's simply called "Tote" )

This reminds me... I think I named my first teddy bear, "Bear". Hmm...

My 30 VA Birkin is Zoe, my 35 Rouge Garrance Lindy is Maura - like Ramaura, a type of ruby. My 30 Cafe Lindy is Coco, she is not named for CoCo Chanel.

All of mine are named "Please go get my bag." That's the only name I can be certain DH will remember.

Actually, most of my days are so busy I can barely remember my own name. I think naming a bag just might push me right off the edge.

Have to say I wouldn't name mine, I feel it sacrilege to rename something as beautiful as a Birkin.....although I do always refer to my Birkin as a her

I call my Kelly, Miss Kelly. It just seems like she deserves the "respect" of "Miss" added! I'm already calling my Birkin "Miss Indigo" and I don't even have her yet!

I don't name my bags, but my late husband and I always named our cars! We once had a huge old Suburban and named it "TARC" after the public bus transportation in our city - it was about as big as a bus!
