Lmao! Yeah, unfortunately I hear that A LOT! Yeah, I started my designer addiction with Vintage Gucci and Dior pieces..and it progressed from there! I adore vintage designer items. I am on a vintage Chanel kick right now, since a lot of their current styles seem to be going downhill in quality right now. IMO.

Be happy you are 23, I wish I could go back 4 years!! I am getting too close to 30! It is starting to freak me out! NOT that there is anything wrong with it, I just am in shock when I think about how many years have passed! I am going to blink my eyes and be 70....with a great bag collection. :graucho:

I totally agree with you. Being too close to 30 doesn't bother me as much as the fact that I've been out of high school for almost 10 years. Age is just a number, at least I keep telling myself that anyway.

Lmao!! I agree! My 10 year HS reunion is coming up soon and I can't believe it! It doesn't feel like I have been out of HS THAT long! I keep telling myself that too...

Wait until you get to close to 20 years then it's time to freak out. Having seen some of my former highschool classmates fairly recently, I'm really happy I look better at aging than them. Seriously, a lot of them look like they had too many late nights guzzling beer, smoking 20 packs a day and eating junk food 24/7. They couldn't believe I still look pretty much the same. I'm in my mid 30's and when I went to the casino in October (I don't gamble anymore though just went with friends), I was carded twice and I had to take out additional identification because the security guards refused to believe I was of legal age. That stuff kind of annoys me - I personally would like to look a bit closer to 30 and be taken seriously and professionally.

I didn't think too much about it when I approached 30 - it's the 40 year old mark that's making me dread it.

I agree with that too. I got carded for lottery tickets not to long ago, it's annoying and flattering all at the same time.

The Usual suspects was a good film!! Yeah, I don't think marriage is necessary. You can have life partners but why bring in paperwork, kwim? Plus, I can't believe how much some people spend on their wedding/dress. Why not use that money for a fabulous vacation, house, savings or dare I say a fabulous handbag? Just my opinion. I will still take the ring!!! I was in San Francisco last year and absolutely loved it!! I fell in love with the area!

Ugh! I think when I hit 25 I started to realize how close I was to 30 and I panicked. I am excited but really nervous about my 10 year reunion. I am running 4 miles a day ( or gym if weather is bad) trying to get into the best shape I can! I know so many people from my graduating class who are personal trainers, models, firemen, police officers and they are in amazing shape...so that is what I am expecting at my reunion! My dad still gets carded and he is 55, it makes my mom so angry! Lmao. It is the baby face.

Age: 31
Gender: Woman
Resides: central west coast of Florida
Occupation: legal assistant and jewelry sales assistant
Favourite brands: Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry
Hobbies: hanging out on tPF, shopping, laying out at the pool with a margarita, going out to eat with DH and/or friends
Favourite drinks: WATER, wine, margaritas

Favourite shows: shamelessly addicted to reality TV! Jersey Shore, Jerseylicious, America's Next Top Model, Teen Mom, Rachel Zoe, all the VH1 "dating" shows
Favourite movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Favourite books:I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell
Odd things about me: Well, most everything about me . But I am a "collector" and cannot throw stuff away. My BFF has to come over once per year and purge my stuff for me. I watch hoarders and can relate (scary!).
Things that scare me: Horses and other LARGE animals and BIRDS (especially when their wings are open)
Current obsessions: Sephora and the MAC counter (next week that could all change since I am highly obsessive).

I love Sephora!! I try to stick to their less toxic products, but they have SO many amazing things I want to try!! I walk in with the intention to buy a lip gloss and walk out with 5 things!! It is terrible! I love the Josie Maran Argon oil!! It is amazing for a winter moisturizer. I also use Carol's Daughter hair products...love them!!! Oh, and Sugar lip tint/spf/moisturizer in Rose. It looks so beautiful on. I have fair/sensitive skin (Irish and Cherokee/Blackhawk Indian) and I love coral and light tinted lip glosses with my complexion! Now I want to make another trip!

OMG, I AGREE with everything you said!! I, too, can't believe the money people put into getting married. My best friend spent way over 100,000 and she was divorced in two years. Yes, I will take a fabulous handbag over marriage any day!! Glad you liked our city!!! :P

^Silly me - I shouldn't have posted gucci girl - I mean there are a bunch of gucci dudes too! lol
