If you are thinking of using eBay try advanced search near the shopping trolley symbol. Type in mulberry Alexa. Look down the list for completed listings click then go to the bottom of the list and click search. You will see prices of alexas that have finished and it will give you some idea.

Yes, as madmadmo says, using the completed listings function on ebay will give you a pretty good idea of what they normally go for.

Another rule of thumb is 30% off retails as that is what the outlets charge..so below that for preloved sales imo
