What year was the epi lussac discontinued?

Can someone reliably tell me when the epi lussac was discontinued? I am wondering because I just bought one from ebay and I'm now wondering if it may be fake. The date code says "AS0090". What does this mean?

I thought "AS" meant made in France, and the rest means made in the 9th month of 2000 (ie September). But was the epi lussac bag discontinued before 2000?

I would love your help as I want to return if its not real.

In case anyone else is wondering, the Lussac was discontinued in 2006/07.
