what would you wear with...

a black high waisted pencil skirt?
i was going to wear it with some black tights and blueberry purple flats
but i dont want to be too dressy with a dress shirt because im planning to wear a cardigan over it, but i need some suggestions for a top : )
btw there are removable suspender-thingys on them
how would YOU wear it?

I love pencil skirts! I could never wear a pencil skirt with flats because I am only 5' and I would never pull that off, trust me. But if you are taller you can get away with it, IMHO. I got this online for you to see, I know is not what you have in mind but I am sure more ladies will come out with cute ideas.
