So, I've been looking around at different rings at reputable jewelers here. I wanted to buy myself a ring to wear on my right hand - something sparkly. I had a budget in mind.

I've narrowed it down to two options, but they are so different! One is a Carelle ring in rose gild & rose de France. It is under my original budget, but while it's big & sparkly, it's more of a fashion piece than something with longevity. Mind you, I could get the matching earrings...

The other is a rose gold 'celebration band' with 4 rows of pave pink diamonds. It's elegant and super sparkly. It's much simpler, but it is alot more $$.... it's a bit over my budget, which means I would have to wait a bit after my B-day to take it home...

I don't wear much jewelery at all. Just my wedding set usually & sometimes earrings. Both suit me & look good one me.... my fingers are long & thin....

I am having alot of trouble deciding! I would love to hear your opinions :flowers:

Personally, I would go for the pink diamonds. I rather have one great piece than two smaller pieces. BTW, can you get the same ring with pink sapphires? It will be just as sparkly and 1/2 the price of pink diamonds.

I agree with AntiqueShopper; definitely pink diamonds! It sounds gorgeous. The other pieces would be really nice too, but I feel like the ring would be more of a longevity piece rather than a come and go style.

Not really.. or at least not that I've seen. (I think because this is an anniversary/wedding piece) Plus, the pink sapphires that I've been looking at were not quite the right tone that I had in mind...
