We leave for London and Paris tomorrow. I want to buy a bag, clutch or a wallet or something in Paris. I feel like I’ve been stalking every single luxury website looking at everything. I’ve been looking at LV, Celine, Givenchy, YSL, Burberry and Chanel. I already own an LV sully and graceful, zippy wallet and a pochette, Burberry macken, Gucci mini Marmont and a Chanel small flap bag.

What would you buy?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you’re looking for a souvenir of your trip, so the buying experience could be just as important as what you buy. In Paris I recommend going to the Chanel store on Rue Cambon, and looking at a WOC. The LV flagship on the Champs-Elysées is a bit of a madhouse, so not my cup of tea. You could also try the Hermès flagship on Faubourg-Saint-Honoré for the experience, and look at SLGs there.
Enjoy your trip!

This is wonderful thank you. Yes looking for a special little something. And thank you for mentioning the champs Élysée LV store. I’ve heard it’s nuts so your confirmation helps. I’m not super into crowds.

Here's wishing you a fabulous trip! You've gotten some great suggestions already. I'll just recommended the following:

Celine - the belt bag, the box bag if you can find them
Gucci - a dionysus chain wallet aka woc
Dior - a diorama woc or croisiere (which looks fabulous as a clutch or a woc)
YSL - The BDJ clutch is nice. The SDJ bag is cute. The brand has had quality issues though (speaking from experience)
Chanel - a classic medium or jumbo flap in caviar leather.
Favre Le Page - that gun pouch/purse of theirs is the cutest. As are their SLGS
Moynat
Goyard

Good luck and have fun!

These are wonderful suggestions. I’m a bit worried I will cave and buy a jumbo flap. It’s the purse I want more than anything!!!

if it’s Chanel, i read before that price-wise, may be better in London ( being that they’ve adjusted their prices globally, the difference savings-wise would be in the vat refund / taxes).. I went to new bond street store ( scored there, last week), the store is big with lots of inventory... Harrods also nice.. but for the history/experience of course the Paris flagship store on rue cambon with the iconic stairs to Coco’s apartment... but heads up this store can be very busy.. timing is impt.
Hermes in Paris, unless you’re after a birkin kelly or constance..i would go to their prettiest store on Rue Sevres ( the one that used to be a pool).. FSH is very busy and you need to secure an appointment for leather goods. Sevres store also has a cafe upstairs.. Have a great trip! hope u get your souvenir

I know we tend to over-encourage spending here, but, if the jumbo is on your lust list and they have it, fate might just be telling you to get it at that point
