What would you buy?

Hi! I have a small luxury collection but have not made a purchase in awhile, focusing on investing money elsewhere. My parents would like to purchase me something which is so so kind of them. They want to spend $2000. I’m looking at a neverfull or a pochette felicie, there is a price difference there that is substantial, I may put in the additional to get a pair of Oran sandles in the case of going for a pochette felicie.

But I feel like I’m being short sighted- where is this money best spent? What would you do?

I would take a look at my collection, think about my rotation and then decide what I need more; a pochette or a tote. A bag is best when purchasing it has a purpose, a real one, as in you need it and therefore will also use it.
A pochette is handy for many things and besides the obvious you can also use it in a bigger bag to keep f.e. wallet, phone and keys separate from other things or using it as a type of organizer for your small stuff.
A tote on the other hand - it's handy if you want or need to lug a lot of things around or just want the extra space for possible shopping etc.
