With winter coming on, my skin gets a bit dryer. I have let my legs go a bit with longer garments. That said, with the midi dresses that I am getting for this winter, I will need to show some of my leg unless of course I wear leggings all of the time. What would you recommend for dry skin when I shave them. It seems that there are a lot of men's products for shavings, but not as many for women. What do you suggest? Thanks.

I second the AmLactin. I've tried a lot of different lotions and oils but this was recently recommended by my dermatologist. I have been very pleasantly surprised about how effective it is. My doctor specifically said to get the 15% lactic acid cream, not the lotion. I will say that the scent is not the best but I only smell it when applying the cream as the scent doesn't linger afterwards like a scented lotion would. And a little goes a long way when applying.

I use skin mate to shave but I think that the most important step is to moisturize well after the shower.
have you considered getting waxed? It lasts longer and after a while you have less hairy legs..

I shave with L'Occitane almond shower oil (use it as an all over body cleanser - such a saviour for my skin and helps with my KP too) and then use a moisturiser while my skin is still damp - I've been using the Garnier Shea butter moisturiser recently (cheap but has been effective for me).

I like Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse atm but also like The Body Shop strawberry body butter. But I'll also use up whatever face cream I've got fed up with/not happy with, just to use it up and feel , and not that I can go out and buy some more, oh no :graucho:
